It's been many years since my last visit. We came here because of the location. We wanted a small ice cream treat thus our visit. The place is fairly big with booths and tables and many large floor to ceiling windows all around. With the large windows, a major issue immediately surfaced upon entering. There was too much sun. Yes, I could tell that customers were trying to find tables to hide from the bright sun. Unfortunately, we were all blinded by the bright sunlight. Not sure why the store doesn't have blinds and if they did have blinds, why they were not used. We truly did not enjoy our ice cream due to this. I had a chocolate chip cone and my friend tried the lemon cream blackberry. Both were very sweet full of sugary taste. I didn't find it to be special at all. Each costs about $8. Yeah, I do understand about inflation, but at that price, I think I can get a quart of ice cream and make my own ice cream cones. I think I will pass next time.

Quality was good...however. Service was not. Waited probably 20 minutes for a sundae and finally asked a server ( after trying for 5 minutes to get someones attention)what happened my order. Oops so sorry it was lost in the ether. Meh.....

Joey was very charismatic and helpful. The cookie dough ice cream wasn't too sweet and had a lot dough chunks in it. I also loved how they had a kids' size. Great value.

I scream, you scream, so quit screaming and get some ice cream already, and why not go to Oberweis. A sit down ice cream shop that's open late. High school kids, elderly couples, small children, there all here. There dosen't seem to be a specific clientele, all are welcome. A good selection of menu items with the option to change things up to your liking. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. Neat little thing, they have chess/checker boards on the tables. It's a small thing but a nice touch. I haven't played checkers in years and it was a bonus to be able to sit with my kid and play a game over ice cream.

Went here for the first time on a late Sunday evening, almost near the closing hours. Place was packed. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this place, so just went up to he counter and asked ‘Tess’ what would she recommend and I don’t like too sweet I’ve creams and dark chocolates are my favorite. Her favorite was Caramel crunch so I ordered it with vanilla to not go overboard with flavors. Best decision I took in a long time! Service is very nice and if you wish to try any of the flavors before buying, you are more than welcome to try it. I don’t eat ice cream often and last ice cream I ate was almost a year ago that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate eating it. I just love special places that give us memories. So here to one. Definitely worth a try.
